Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme
The examination will be conducted in a Computer Based Mode consisting of objective-type multiple-choice questions. It is generally divided into two sessions.
- Session I: Includes Numerical and Mathematical Ability and Reasoning Ability. There is usually no negative marking in Session I.
- Session II: Includes General Awareness and English Language & Comprehension. Negative marking of 1 mark is typically applicable for each wrong answer.
- Total Duration: 90 Minutes (45 minutes for each session).
- Language: Questions will be set in English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages.
Admit Card Download & Instructions
Candidates can download their SSC MTS Hall Ticket by following the standard protocol on the regional SSC websites. Ensure you have your Registration Number and Date of Birth ready.
- Step 1: Visit the official SSC website or your respective regional SSC portal.
- Step 2: Click on the link for Admission Certificate for MTS/Havaldar 2025.
- Step 3: Enter your credentials and login.
- Step 4: Download and print the Admit Card.
- Important Note: Carry a valid Photo ID Proof and two recent passport-size photographs to the exam center.
- Finality: The slot once selected during the 16-25 January window is final and cannot be changed.
Selection Process

- Computer Based Examination (CBE): Mandatory for both MTS and Havaldar posts.
