Qualification
- Assistant Professor (Clinical & Non-Clinical): PG Degree (MD/MS/DNB) in the concerned specialty and one year Senior Residency.
- Assistant Professor (Super Specialty): PG Degree (DM/MCh/DNB/DrNB) in the concerned super specialty.
- Medical Council: Must be registered with AP Medical Council.
Full Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must ensure they meet the Educational Qualifications and Local Status requirements as of the notification date. Local candidates are those who studied from 4th to 10th class in Andhra Pradesh or migrated from Telangana within specified timelines. Senior Residency completion is mandatory for Clinical and Non-Clinical posts but not required for Super Specialty roles.

Salary Structure

Selection Process
The selection is strictly based on Merit and the Rule of Reservation. There is no written examination. The total marks awarded will be out of 100, calculated through a transparent weighting system based on academic performance and professional experience.

- Weightage for Seniority: 1 mark per year since completion of PG/Super Specialty (Max 10 Marks).
- Central Institution Weightage: 5 marks for candidates who completed PG from Central Institutions.
- Contract Service Weightage: Marks based on service in Tribal, Rural, or Urban areas (Up to 15 Marks).
- Covid-19 Service: Special weightage for service rendered during the pandemic.
Weightage Criteria
The recruitment board provides additional marks for candidates who have served in Government health institutions on a contract basis. This recognizes the service of doctors in challenging geographical areas like Tribal and Rural regions.
