  • Technician Apprentice (Chemical): 3 Years Diploma in Chemical Engineering/Petrochemical.
  • Technician Apprentice (Instrumentation): 3 Years Diploma in Instrumentation/Electronics Engineering.

Full Eligibility

Candidates must ensure they meet the academic and medical standards prescribed by IOCL. Only regular full-time courses from recognized institutes are eligible. Candidates who have completed 5 years after acquiring the qualification or have prior experience/training are not eligible.

Salary

    Job Profile & Responsibility

    Apprentices will undergo on-the-job training in a complex and hazardous petroleum refining environment. They will assist in operations and maintenance activities under supervision.

    • Learning plant operation procedures and safety protocols.
    • Assisting in the maintenance of mechanical, chemical, and instrumentation systems.
    • Maintaining daily logs and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
    • Engagement period is generally 12 months (24 months for Boiler trade).
