Qualification

Full Eligibility

Candidates must be Indian Citizens and currently serving as regular MTS, Skilled Contingency, or Handyman in the specified departments of Arunachal Pradesh. Eligibility is strictly restricted to departmental candidates certified by their respective Head of Department (HOD).

Selection Process

The selection process for the APSSB CLDCE 2026 is divided into two major stages. Candidates must qualify in both to be considered for final merit, although the skill tests are qualifying in nature.

  • Stage 1: Written Examination - Objective Type (MCQs) for 200 marks.
  • Stage 2: Skill Test - Typing Test for LDC/JSA and Driving Test for Driver post.
  • Document Verification - Scrutiny of original certificates and service records.
  • Final Merit List - Based solely on the marks obtained in the Stage 1 Written Exam.

Exam Pattern

The written exam will be conducted for 2 hours. There is no negative marking, and candidates must secure at least 33% aggregate marks to pass. For Drivers, 33% is required in both common and technical papers separately.
