Exam Overview
The APPSC FBO and ABO Mains Exam is the final written hurdle for candidates aiming to join the Andhra Pradesh Forest Department. This recruitment drive covers 691 vacancies. The mains exam will strictly evaluate candidates on General Studies, Mental Ability, and General Science/Mathematics. Only those who pass this stage will be eligible for physical standards testing.

Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme

- Qualifying Test: Essay in English/Telugu/Urdu (Qualifying nature).
- Paper-I: General Studies & Mental Ability (75 Marks).
- Paper-II: General Science & General Mathematics (75 Marks - SSC Standard).
- Negative Marking: 1/3rd penalty for every incorrect answer in objective papers.
- Total Marks: 150 Marks (excluding qualifying essay).
Admit Card Download & Instructions
The APPSC Hall Ticket 2026 for FBO and ABO is expected to be released 7-10 days prior to the exam date. Candidates must use their OTPR ID and Password to log in and download the document.
- Download Date: Expected by 01 February 2026.
- Required IDs: Carry a valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhar, PAN, or Voter ID) along with the printed Hall Ticket.
