Selection Process

Job Profile & Responsibility
The role of a DD News Stringer involves real-time reporting and technical production of news content. They act as the eyes and ears of Doordarshan in remote districts.
- Providing Raw Footage, dope sheets, and scripts for assigned tasks.
- Alerting the Regional News Unit (RNU) on breaking stories and major events.
- Covering News, Current Affairs, Sports, and Business features.
- Ensuring high technical quality (Audio, Video, and Luminance levels).
- Maintaining Neutrality and avoiding any act that embarrasses Prasar Bharati.
