Qualification

  • Primary Teacher (Class 1-5): Must be working as a local body teacher with relevant training (D.El.Ed/B.Ed).
  • Middle School Teacher (Class 6-8): Working local body teacher with Graduation and B.Ed/D.El.Ed.
  • Secondary Teacher (Class 9-10): Working teacher with Graduation and B.Ed/STET.
  • Sr. Secondary Teacher (Class 11-12): Working teacher with Post Graduation and B.Ed/STET.
  • Librarian/Physical Teacher: Must be currently working in respective local body posts.

Full Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be currently employed as local body teachers or physical teachers/librarians in Bihar's government schools. Those who did not appear or failed in previous phases (1st to 4th) are also eligible to apply for this 5th Phase Sakshamta Pariksha.

Salary & Benefits

Upon passing the Sakshamta Pariksha, teachers will be designated as Vishisht Shikshak. They will be entitled to a new pay scale and benefits as per the Bihar School Special Teacher Rules, 2024.

  • Passing this exam transitions the teacher from Niyojit Shikshak to Vishisht Shikshak.
  • The salary will be adjusted according to the Bihar Government's updated pay structure for special teachers.
  • Teachers will also receive benefits like DA, HRA, and Medical Allowances as per state rules.

Selection Process

The selection is based on qualifying the Computer Based Test (CBT). Passing this exam is mandatory for regularizing services under the state cadre.

  • Phase 2: Document Verification (Counseling) after qualifying.
  • Phase 3: Biometric Verification and Thumb Impression matching.
