Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme
As this is a merit-based selection, there is no physical examination conducted by India Post. The ranking is determined by a computerized Automatic Merit Generation system.

- Tie-Breaking Rule: If marks are identical, the older candidate is preferred. If still tied, priority is given based on category (ST Female > SC Female > OBC Female, etc.).
- Grading System: For candidates with Grades/Points, marks are calculated using a 9.5 Multiplication Factor.

Shortlisted candidates do not receive an Admit Card for an exam but receive an Intimation Letter or SMS/Email for the Document Verification (DV) process.
