Selection Process
The selection is rigorous, involving three stages to ensure only highly competent technical professionals are recruited into NIC.
- Stage 1: Online Screening Test (Objective Type - 150 Marks).
- Stage 2: Evaluation of Academic Records (Weightage based on X, XII, Degree, GATE, PhD, etc.).
- Stage 3: Personal Interaction / Interview (30 Marks).
- Final Merit: Prepared based on Academic Evaluation + Interview Score (Total 150).
Exam Pattern (Screening Test)
The Screening Test is qualifying in nature and will be conducted in Online Mode for both Scientist-C and Scientist-D positions.
