Exam Overview
The UPPSC PCS 2024 recruitment aims to fill 220 vacancies in various administrative departments of the Uttar Pradesh government. This is a highly competitive state civil services examination consisting of three rigorous stages. The Personality Test is the final stage that determines the final merit list of successful candidates.
- Conducting Body: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) is responsible for the entire recruitment process.

- Final Session: The schedule continues through 24 February 2026.
Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme
The UPPSC PCS Exam Pattern is designed to test the depth of knowledge and analytical ability of the candidates through multiple stages.
- Mains Examination: Consists of 8 Descriptive Papers (General Hindi, Essay, and 6 General Studies papers) totaling 1500 Marks.
- Interview/Personality Test: This final stage carries 100 Marks.
- Final Merit: Prepared based on marks obtained in Mains + Interview (Total 1600 Marks).
- Medium: Candidates can choose to answer in Hindi or English as per their preference in the application.
Admit Card Download & Instructions
Candidates must download their Interview Call Letter from the official UPPSC portal using their registration details and OTR ID.
- Download Date: The call letters are available for download starting 05 February 2026.
- Mandatory Documents: Carry Original Educational Certificates, 02 Photographs, and 05 self-attested copies of the application form.
- Reporting Time: For the First Session, report at 08:00 AM; for the Second Session, report at 12:30 PM.
- Preference Form: Candidates must fill and submit the Post Preference Form online before the interview.
- Caste/Category: Latest format Caste Certificate or EWS Certificate (dated after 18.02.2019) is mandatory for reserved category benefits.
