Qualification

- Trade Apprentice: 10th Pass + ITI in relevant trade (COPA, Fitter, Mechanic, etc.).
Full Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for MECL Apprentice 2026 require candidates to have a regular full-time degree or diploma from a recognized university. Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in their respective qualifying exams. Please note that candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training are not eligible.

Salary (Monthly Stipend)
The selected candidates for the MECL Apprenticeship 2026 will receive a fixed monthly stipend as per the Apprenticeship Act 1961. This stipend is intended to cover basic expenses during the one-year training period. No other allowances like HRA or DA will be provided during the training.

Selection Process
The MECL Apprentice Selection Process 2026 is very straightforward and transparent. There is no written exam or interview for these positions. Selection is strictly based on Academic Merit. Candidates will be ranked based on the percentage of marks obtained in their qualifying degree, diploma, or ITI course.
