  • Annual Increment: Based on performance, YPs may receive an annual increment of 4% (Satisfactory), 7% (Significant Contributions), or 10% (Exceptional) of their monthly consolidated retainership fee.

Selection Process

The selection process for SAIL Young Professionals involves a multi-stage evaluation to identify the most suitable candidates. It typically includes short-listing, a Computer Based Test (CBT), and a Personal Interaction.

  • Step 1: Application Scrutiny & Short-listing: Applications received by the closing date will be scrutinized by a Screening Committee to ensure fulfillment of eligibility criteria.
  • Step 2: Computer Based Test (CBT) (If Applicable): Eligible candidates may be called for a CBT. This test will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions across two segments: Technical/Professional knowledge (50 questions) and Aptitude Test (50 questions). The duration will be 90 minutes.
  • Step 3: Personal Interaction: Candidates will be shortlisted for Personal Interaction in order of merit from the CBT (if conducted) at a ratio of 1:3 for each grade. If selection is through Personal Interaction only, a minimum of 50% qualifying marks is required.
  • Step 4: Final Selection: The final merit list will be drawn by combining marks from the Computer Based Test (CBT) and Personal Interaction with a weightage of 80:20 respectively. In case of a tie, the candidate with higher marks in the eligibility qualification will be selected.
  • Step 5: Medical Standard: Selected candidates must furnish a general medical fitness certificate. The company reserves the right to conduct a medical examination as per applicable standards.
