Selection Process
The UGC NET December 2025 selection process is based entirely on a Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). There is no interview or physical test. Candidates are shortlisted for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) or Assistant Professor eligibility based on their performance in both papers. The final merit list is prepared using aggregate marks. Candidates must secure the minimum qualifying marks to be considered eligible.

Exam Pattern
