MP SET 2025 Notification Out: Apply Online, Eligibility, Exam Date, Syllabus

Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has released the official Notification for the State Eligibility Test (SET) 2025 for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Professor, Librarian, and Sports Officer in MP colleges and universities. The exam will be conducted in offline OMR mode on 11 January 2026. Candidates with a postgraduate degree (final year students also eligible) can apply online from 25 October to 20 November 2025. Late fee windows are available till 10 days before the exam. There is no age limit for appearing in the exam.

Candidates applying for MP SET 2025 must possess a Master’s Degree from a UGC-recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks for General/OBC (Creamy Layer)/EWS categories and 50% marks for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/PwD (MP domicile only). Final year PG students are also eligible to apply provisionally. Ph.D. holders who completed their PG before 19 September 1991 are eligible for a 5% relaxation. Selection Process

Exam Pattern
