Important Examination Features:
- Section-wise Time Division: The exam is divided into 5 sections, each containing 20 questions with a time limit of 18 minutes per section. Once a section is completed, candidates cannot return to it.
- Auto-Submission: Each section will be automatically submitted after 18 minutes, and the next section will be activated. The entire exam will be auto-submitted after 90 minutes.
- Medium of Examination: For posts requiring 10th/Matriculation/10+2 qualification, the exam will be bilingual (English/Hindi). For posts requiring technical domain knowledge or bachelor's degree or higher, the medium will be English only.
- Normalization Process: If the CBT is conducted in multiple shifts, the normalization procedure will be applied as per AIIMS guidelines (Notice No. 35/2023 dated 20.01.2023).
- Skill Test (Stage-II): For certain posts, candidates qualifying in CBT must appear for Skill Tests which include Typing Tests, Stenography, Physical Standards Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Practical Skill Tests as applicable.
- Merit List Preparation: The merit list will be prepared based on performance in the CBT. Skill Tests are qualifying in nature and do not contribute to the final merit ranking.
- Tie-Breaking Criteria: In case of equal marks, ties will be resolved by: (i) Marks in domain-specific part, (ii) Number of wrong answers/negative marks, (iii) Date of birth (older candidates preferred).
- No Backtracking: Candidates cannot go back to previous sections once the time expires. All questions must be attempted within the allocated 18 minutes per section.
- Choice and Preference: After qualifying the CBT, candidates will be invited to fill choices and preferences for participating organizations. Seat allocation will be based on merit and preference order.
- Ex-Servicemen Qualifying Marks: Ex-Servicemen will have qualifying marks applicable as per their category (UR/OBC/SC/ST).
