Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has released the Official Notification for the engagement of Trade, Technician and Graduate Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in its Northern Region Marketing Division. Eligible candidates from states including Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, UP, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and others can apply online from 12th September to 11th October 2025. Candidates must meet the educational qualifications and age criteria as specified for each post. For Trade Apprentice, applicants should have completed Matriculation with ITI in relevant trades. For Data Entry Operator (Fresher), Class 12th is required, while Skill Certificate Holders must also possess a certification in Domestic Data Entry Operator. Age must be between 18 to 24 years as on the cut-off date, with applicable relaxations for reserved categories.

Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend as per the prescribed rates governed by the Apprenticeship Rules. The Graduate and Technician Apprentices will be paid through the BOAT portal, while Trade Apprentices and Data Entry Operators will receive their stipend directly from IOCL. The stipend is subject to having a valid Aadhaar-linked bank account and is credited via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

The selection process for IOCL Apprenticeship is purely merit-based. There is no written exam or interview. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the percentage of marks obtained in their qualifying examination. In case of a tie, preference will be given to candidates with older age, followed by higher marks in Class X. Final selection is subject to document verification and medical fitness.
