RITES Limited, a Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, has released an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the engagement of individual experts and firms in the fields of Ports, Shipbuilding Yards, Dry Docks and Ship Lift Facilities. The selected experts will support planning, design, engineering and implementation of maritime infrastructure projects aligned with India’s Maritime Amrit Kaal Vision 2047. Qualification

  • Shipbuilding Expert: B.E/B.Tech in Naval Architecture & Shipbuilding + Master's in Naval Architecture/Marine Engineering/Ocean Structures/Port Planning or equivalent. Minimum 20+ years in civil/marine/structural engineering with 15+ years in shipbuilding/repair industry. Experience in dry docks, floating docks, slipways, ship lifts, quay structures, workshops and classification society rules (ABS, DNV, Lloyds, IACS).
  • Port Infrastructure Expert (Civil): B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering. PG in Marine/Ocean Engineering preferred. Minimum 15 years in marine infrastructure projects related to ports/harbors. Experience in jetties, quays, breakwaters, revetments, terminals, material handling foundations.
  • Port Material Handling Expert (Mechanical): B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. PG in Mechanical/Instrumentation/Material Handling preferred. Minimum 20 years in port material handling, erection/testing/commissioning of bulk/container systems. Experience in conveyor systems, cargo/bulk/liquid handling and multidisciplinary team coordination.

Full Eligibility

Salary

The RITES Expert Engagement offers remuneration on a monthly or person-day basis, depending on the nature of assignment. The man-month rates will be offered to shortlisted experts based on experience level and market inputs. These rates are exclusive of GST and valid for one year from the date of acceptance.
