Short Information: The Indian Air Force has released a Notification inviting online applications from eligible Indian and Gorkha (Nepalese subjects) male candidates for recruitment as Airmen in Group 'Y' (Non-Technical) Medical Assistant Trade under Intake 02/2025. Registration starts from 11 July 2025 and will continue till 31 July 2025. Candidates with 10+2 qualifications and Diploma/B.Sc in Pharmacy are eligible. Exam Date: The online examination for Indian Air Force Group Y Medical Assistant Trade under Airmen Intake 02/2025 will commence from 25 September 2025 onwards. Eligible candidates must be Indian or Gorkha (a subject of Nepal) male citizens. IAF Medical Assistant Recruitment 2025: Salary
Selected candidates for the Medical Assistant Trade in the Indian Air Force will receive a monthly stipend of ₹14,600/- during training. Upon successful completion, the initial gross salary rises to ₹26,900/- per month including Military Service Pay. Additional allowances such as Dearness, HRA, Transport and Education allowances will also be provided as per prevailing government norms. Career progression and further skill development may lead to higher pay scales over time.

The Indian Air Force Group Y Medical Assistant Trade examination under Airmen Intake 02/2026 will be conducted online in Phase-I.
