A total of 1340 Vacancies are to be filled through this competitive exam. Eligible candidates can apply online From 30 June 2025 to 21 July 2025 on the Official SSC Portal.

Qualification
- Diploma / Degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering depending on post.
- For some posts, 2 years of work experience is required post qualification.
- Distance mode B.Tech degrees (except IGNOU up to 2009–10 batch) are not valid.

- Both Paper-I and Paper-II are objective-type multiple choice exams.
- Questions will be available in both Hindi and English languages.
- Branch selection in application form (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical) decides engineering subject in both papers.
- Scientific Calculator is provided on-screen during exam; physical calculators not allowed.
- Steam Table and IS 456:2000 reference tables available on-screen during exam.
- Normalization of marks is applied if exams are held in multiple shifts.
- Minimum qualifying marks: UR – 30%, OBC/EWS – 25%, Others – 20%
- Final merit is based on combined normalized scores of Paper-I and Paper-II.

- Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) if not already done on the new SSC portal.
- Use Aadhaar-based authentication or upload identity/address/date of birth proofs.
- Log in using your registration ID and password.
- Navigate to "Apply" section under "Live Examination" tab for SSC JE 2025.
- Fill the application form with correct personal, educational and category details.
- Choose your engineering stream: Civil / Electrical / Mechanical.
- Capture a live photograph through camera/webcam or Android app (QR link provided by SSC).
