Qualification
- Technician Apprentice: 3 Years Diploma in Engineering (Relevant Field) with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
- Graduate Apprentice: BA, B.Com, B.Sc, or BBA from a recognized University with 50% marks.
- Trade Apprentice (ITI): Matric with 2 Years ITI course in Fitter, Electrician, etc.
- Data Entry Operator: Class 12th Pass (but below graduate).
Full Eligibility
The eligibility for IOCL Apprentice 2026 requires candidates to have completed their prescribed qualification between 01 April 2021/2022 and 31 December 2025. Higher professional qualifications like B.E./B.Tech, MBA, CA, or LLB are NOT eligible for these posts.

Salary (Stipend)
The Stipend for selected candidates will be paid monthly as per the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 and subsequent amendments. The duration of the training is 12 Months.
Selection Process
The selection for IOCL Western Region Apprentice is purely based on academic excellence. There will be No Written Exam or Interview for these positions.
- Merit List: Prepared based on marks obtained in the essential prescribed qualification.
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for physical verification of original certificates.
- Medical Examination: Candidates must be declared Medically Fit as per IndianOil's guidelines.
