Qualification
- Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales): Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. Candidates in the final year/semester can apply provisionally subject to passing proof on or before 31 December 2026. Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) holders must also have a passing date on or before 31 December 2026. Matriculate Ex-servicemen with 15 years of service in Armed Forces holding relevant education certificates are also eligible.

Salary
The SBI Clerical Cadre pay scale provides attractive emoluments, additional allowances, and advance increments for graduate entrants in major cities across India.

- In addition to basic pay, employees receive Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other allowances as per prevailing rules.
- Reimbursements are offered for perquisites, Provident Fund, Pension under New Pension Scheme, and Medical facilities.
- Newly recruited candidates will undergo a probation period of a minimum 6 months.
Selection Process
The recruitment process involves objective online tests followed by evaluation of local language proficiency before final appointment into the bank service.
- Phase I: Preliminary Examination: Online objective test of 100 marks duration 1 hour.
- Phase II: Main Examination: Online objective test of 200 marks duration 2 hours 40 minutes.
- Phase III: Local Language Proficiency Test: Qualifying test for candidates who have not studied the local language in 10th or 12th standard.
- Document Verification: Verification of educational documents, caste certificates, and identity proof.
- Medical Examination: Final selection is subject to being declared medically fit.

The selection consists of two main examination phases containing objective multiple-choice questions with individual section timings and penalty for wrong answers.
