Selection Process
The selection of Guest Faculty will be purely merit-based, considering academic/technical qualifications, higher qualifications, and relevant experience. No written examination will be conducted for these positions.
- Academic/Technical Qualification: 70% weightage based on the percentage marks in ITI, Diploma, or Degree.
- Higher Qualification: Additional marks for specific higher qualifications:
- ATI / CTI / ITW / ITOT / RPL Instructor Training: 3 marks
- Engineering Diploma (relevant branch): 2 marks
- Engineering Graduate (relevant branch): 5 marks
- (Postgraduate degrees like M.E./M.Tech. will not receive additional marks if the base qualification is already a graduate degree).
- Experience: Up to 20 marks for teaching experience in Government ITIs or NCVT/SCVT recognized ITIs.
- 4 marks per year of experience (0 marks for less than 6 months, 4 marks for 6 months to 1 year).
- Experience certificates from private ITIs require EPF/ESIC slips or bank statements for validation.
- A merit list will be published on the portal based on the calculated scores.
- Candidates will be allotted ITIs and trades based on their merit and stated preferences.
