DGQA Technician Recruitment 2026: Apply Offline for 15 Group-C Posts

• Written Exam: Candidates will first appear for a Written Examination.
• Trade Test: Shortlisted candidates from the written exam will be called for a Trade Test.
• Document Verification: Successful candidates will undergo Document Verification to confirm eligibility.
• Medical Test: A final Medical Test will be conducted to ensure physical fitness.

• The exam will consist of Objective Type - Multiple Choice Questions only.
• Parts (i), (ii) & (iv) will be in English and Hindi language. Part (iii) will be in English only.
• Candidates will be shortlisted for the Trade Test based on their performance in the written test.

Key responsibilities may include:

• Assisting in the inspection and testing of defence equipment and components.
• Performing routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery and tools.
• Operating various technical instruments and equipment under supervision.
• Maintaining records of quality checks and test results.
• Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Providing general support in workshops and laboratories as required.
• Handling and moving materials, tools, and equipment.

• Download Application Form: Download the offline application format (Appendix ‘A’ and ‘B’) from the official notification PDF available on ddpmod.gov.in.
• Fill Application: Neatly type the application in English on A4-sized paper.
• Attach Documents: Attach self-attested copies of all required certificates, including Age Proof, Educational/Technical Qualification, Caste Certificate, Aadhaar Card, ESM discharge book, etc.
• Self-Addressed Envelope: Include one self-addressed envelope (size 30 cm x 12 cm) affixed with a postal stamp of Rs. 55/- for sending the admit card.
• Affix Photograph: Affix your latest passport-sized photograph on the application form and the admit card.
• Super-scribe Envelope: Clearly super-scribe the main envelope with: “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF TECHNICIAN (SEMI SKILLED) TRADE: ________, ESTABLISHMENT CODE: ________”.
• Send by Speed Post: Send the completed application form strictly by Speed Post to the following address: The Controller, Controllerate of Quality Assurance (Heavy Vehicles), Post Box No. 20, Avadi, Chennai – 600054.
• Far-Flung Areas: Candidates from specified far-flung areas (Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul & Spiti District, Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, and Lakshadweep) have an extended application deadline till 21 August 2026.
