Selection Process

The selection will be based on Merit and Personal Interview. A selection committee will evaluate candidates based on their academic scores and work experience.

  • Verification of Academic Credentials (10 Marks Weightage).
  • Evaluation of Work Experience (10 Marks Weightage - 1 mark per year).
  • Personal Interview (30 Marks Weightage).
  • Final Panel Recommendation by the Selection Committee.
  • Police Verification of character and antecedents.

Job Profile & Responsibility

A Support Person acts as a facilitator for children who are victims of sexual offenses under the POCSO Act. They provide emotional support and assist in legal proceedings.

  • Providing counseling and emotional support to the child victim.
  • Assisting the child during police statements and court testimonies.
  • Ensuring the child’s best interests are maintained throughout the judicial process.
  • Working in coordination with CWC and POCSO Courts.
  • The panel is valid for a period of 3 years, subject to annual review.
