Qualification

  • Support Person: Post Graduate in Arts, Commerce, Science, Law, Psychology, Social Work, or Child Psychology.

Full Eligibility

Candidates must be citizens of India and should ideally be local residents of Jamtara or Jharkhand. Priority is given to local candidates with valid residence proof.

Salary & Remuneration

The selection is case-based (Honorarium). The support persons will be paid per case handled as per Jharkhand Government norms.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on a merit point system followed by a Personal Interview conducted by the selection committee.

  • Academic Qualification: Max 10 Marks (Graduate: 06, PG: 03, Others: 01)
  • Experience: Max 10 Marks (01 Mark for every completed year)
  • Interview: Max 30 Marks
  • Document Verification: Verification of original certificates and police character report.

Job Profile & Responsibility

A Support Person acts as a bridge between the victim child and the legal system, providing emotional and procedural assistance throughout the POCSO trial.

  • Assisting the child during police investigation and court proceedings.
  • Ensuring the child's well-being and psychological support.
  • Coordinating with the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) and POCSO courts.
  • Providing services as per the guidelines of Jharkhand Social Security Department.
