- Technician Apprentice (Instrumentation): 3 years Diploma in Instrumentation/Electronics/Control Engineering.
Full Eligibility
Candidates must ensure they meet the minimum 50% marks requirement in their qualifying degree/diploma (45% for SC/ST/PwBD). Higher professional qualifications like BE, B.Tech, MBA, or CA are strictly not eligible for this engagement.

Salary & Stipend
Selected candidates will receive a Monthly Stipend as per the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 and Corporation guidelines. No Company accommodation or HRA will be provided.
- Stipend: Rates vary based on trade/discipline as per Govt. rules.
- Leave: 32 days General Leave and 12 days Casual Leave per year.
- Insurance: Suitable Accident Insurance Coverage is provided.
- Equipment: Safety shoes and helmets provided for technical trades.
Selection Process
The selection for IOCL Guwahati Refinery is purely based on academic merit. There is No Written Test or Interview involved in this recruitment cycle.

Job Profile & Responsibility
Apprentices will undergo on-the-job training in a complex and hazardous petroleum refining environment. Training involves assisting in operations and maintenance activities.
- Operational Training: Learning the functioning of chemical plants and refineries.
- Safety Standards: Strict adherence to industrial safety protocols and PPE usage.
- Technical Skills: Gaining hands-on experience in instrumentation and mechanical maintenance.
- Discipline: Following the Certified Standing Orders of the Guwahati Refinery.
