Qualification

  • Level 4 & Level 5: Graduation degree from a recognized University.
  • Level 2 & Level 3: 12th (+2 stage) pass or equivalent. For Technician-III, 10th pass (Training period applies).
  • Level 1: 10th Pass or ITI or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC).

Full Eligibility

Apart from educational qualifications, candidates must have outstanding sports achievements earned on or after 01 April 2023. The championships must be recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MoYAS) and respective National Sports Federations.

Salary Structure

The selected candidates will be placed in the 7th CPC Pay Matrix. The salary includes basic pay plus applicable allowances like DA, HRA, and Transport Allowance as per Railway rules.

Selection Process

The selection is based purely on Sports Merit. No written examination will be conducted. The process involves the following stages:

  • Sports Trials: Assessment of game skill, physical fitness, and coach's observation (40 Marks).
  • Document Verification: Evaluation of recognized sports achievements (50 Marks) and educational qualifications (10 Marks).
  • Medical Examination: Selected candidates must meet the prescribed medical standards.
  • Service Bond: Selected candidates must sign a 5-year service bond.
