Full Eligibility
Candidates must possess a Full-time Regular Engineering Degree from a recognized University with at least 65% marks (60% for SC/ST/PwBD). Only candidates who have passed in 2025 or are in their final year (2025-26) are eligible to apply for this GATE-based recruitment.

Salary
Selected candidates will receive a competitive salary under the E-2 Grade. During the one-year training-cum-probation period, the Basic Pay will be Rs. 60,000/- per month, along with various perks and allowances.

Selection Process
The selection process for GAIL Executive Trainees is strictly based on merit. Candidates must appear for the GATE 2026 examination in their respective discipline to be considered for shortlisting.
- GATE 2026 Score: Shortlisting based on marks obtained in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2026.
- Group Discussion (GD): Shortlisted candidates will be called for a group interaction.
- Personal Interview: Final assessment by the Selection Committee.
- Medical Examination: Final selection is subject to being declared medically fit.
