- The exam will be conducted in Computer-Based mode (CBT) only.
- Both Session-I and Session-II are mandatory. Missing either will disqualify the candidate.
- Session-I: No negative marking for wrong answers.
- Session-II: 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Each session has a fixed duration of 45 minutes (60 minutes for eligible PwBD candidates using scribe).
- The questions will be of objective type (multiple choice).
- Questions will be available in English, Hindi and 13 regional languages for all sections except English Language.
- The marks obtained in Session-II only will be used to prepare the final merit list.
- Normalization of marks will apply if the exam is held in multiple shifts.
- There will be no re-evaluation or re-checking of answers once results are declared.

- Complete your One-Time Registration (OTR) if not already done on the new SSC website
- Authenticate using Aadhaar (recommended) or upload the required identity documents manually
- Log in with your credentials and go to “Apply” section under the latest MTS & Havaldar Recruitment 2025
- Fill out the application form with accurate personal, academic and preference details
- Capture your live photograph using webcam or SSC’s mobile app (do not upload a pre-existing photo)
- Upload your scanned signature in JPEG/JPG format (10 KB to 20 KB, 6x2 cm)
- Pay the application fee online using BHIM UPI, Net Banking or Debit Card
- Review the form and use the “Preview” option before final submission
