Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the CRP SPL-XV Notification for the recruitment of Specialist Officers in participating banks for the 2026–27 cycle. Eligible candidates can apply online from 1st July to 21st July 2025 For Various Posts including IT Officer, Agricultural Field Officer, Rajbhasha Adhikari, Law Officer, HR/Personnel Officer and Marketing Officer. Selection will be through Preliminary and Main Exams followed by an interview.

Important Information Related to IBPS SO Exam Pattern

  • All stages of examination are conducted online by IBPS — Prelims, Main and Interview shortlisting.
  • Each wrong answer in Preliminary and Main Exams carries a penalty of 0.25 marks.
  • Preliminary Exam is only qualifying — marks are not counted in final merit.
  • Main Examination scores and Interview performance carry a combined weightage of 80:20.
  • Minimum qualifying marks in Interview: 40% (General), 35% (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD).
  • Cut-offs are applied section-wise and overall — as per vacancies and difficulty level.
  • Professional Knowledge paper is tailored to the post applied for (e.g. Law, IT, HR, Agri, etc.).
  • Rajbhasha Adhikari Main Exam includes both Objective and Descriptive sections.
  • All tests (except English Language section) are conducted in both English and Hindi.
