Qualification
- Asst. Supt (Stores/Comm): BBA OR Graduate with 1-year Diploma in Material Management/Logistics.
- Structural/Shipwright Fitter: ITI & NCTVT (NAC) in relevant trade.
- Welder: ITI in Welder trade.
- Technical Assistant (Mech): 3 years full-time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Asst. Supt (Finance): Graduate with CA/ICWA Intermediate OR MBA Finance.
- Jr. Supervisor (Safety): Diploma in Mechanical Engg. & 1-year Diploma in Industrial Safety.
Full Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for GSL Non-Executive posts must possess the required educational qualification and a minimum of 2 years post-qualification work experience in the relevant field. Candidates must be Indian citizens and meet the specified age criteria as of the cut-off date.

Salary Structure
Selected candidates will receive competitive pay scales along with other benefits as per the rules of Goa Shipyard Limited. The posting carries the obligation to serve in any GSL unit or project site in India or abroad.

Selection Process
The GSL selection process is rigorous and merit-based, ensuring that the most capable candidates are chosen for these critical shipbuilding and engineering roles.
- Written Test: Can be Computer Based Test (CBT) or Pen Paper Test (PBT).
- Document Verification: Verification of original certificates supporting eligibility.
- Skill / Trade Test: Practical evaluation of technical skills for relevant posts.
- Merit List: Preparation based on written test performance and qualification criteria.
Exam Pattern
The written examination will focus on both general aptitude and the specific technical knowledge required for the trade or post.

Is there any application fee for ST candidates?
No, candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes (ST), PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from paying the application fee.
Can I apply if I have a B.E./B.Tech degree but no Diploma?
For posts like Technical Assistant and Junior Supervisor, a Diploma is an essential requirement. Candidates with B.E./B.Tech without a Diploma will not be considered.
What is the age limit for the advertised posts?
The upper age limit is 38 years for ST category posts and 36 years for OBC category posts, as of 30.11.2025.
