Qualification
- Science Subjects: 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and English with min 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English.
- Diploma Holders: 3-year Engineering Diploma with 50% marks aggregate and 50% in English.
- Other Than Science: 10+2 in any stream with min 50% marks aggregate and 50% in English.
Full Eligibility
Candidates must meet the Educational Qualifications and Medical Standards set by the Indian Air Force. It is mandatory to have 50% marks in English in either 10+2, Diploma, or Vocational courses. Only unmarried Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the Agniveervayu intake 01/2027.

Physical Test Criteria
Candidates are required to undergo a Physical Fitness Test (PFT) which includes running and specific exercises within a set time. Sports shoes and track pants are recommended for this stage.

Salary & Benefits
Selected Agniveervayu will receive a monthly package of ₹30,000/- in the first year with annual increments. A one-time Seva Nidhi Package of approximately ₹10.04 Lakhs will be paid after 4 years of service completion.

Selection Process
The Indian Air Force Selection Process is fair and transparent, based entirely on merit. Candidates must pass multiple phases to be considered for the Provisional Select List (PSL).
- Phase-I: Online Written Test (Objective Type).
- Phase-II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Adaptability Test-I & II.
- Phase-III: Medical Examination.
- Final Merit: Based on Normalised marks and vacancies.
Exam Pattern
The Online Test will be bilingual (English & Hindi) except for the English paper. Marking Pattern: 1 mark for correct answers and 0.25 negative marking for wrong answers.
