The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has released Notification No. 21/2025 for the post of Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector (AMVI) in the A.P. Transport Service. This is a limited recruitment for a single carried forward vacancy in Zone-IV. APPSC AMVI Recruitment 2025: Full Eligibility
Candidates must possess a Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering, a valid Motor Driving License with minimum 3 years driving experience and a Heavy Transport Vehicle endorsement. Women candidates must acquire the endorsement within 2 years of appointment. Physical standards and vision criteria as per government norms are mandatory.

Physical Test Criteria
Applicants must meet the prescribed physical standards including height, chest measurements and vision requirements. Relaxations are provided for SC/ST candidates. Both male and female candidates must be medically fit and free from eye defects like color blindness or squint.

APPSC AMVI Recruitment 2025: Salary
The selected candidates for the post of Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector (AMVI) will receive a monthly salary in the pay scale of ₹48,440 – ₹1,37,220 as per the AP Transport Service Rules. The salary includes basic pay and applicable government allowances.
