- Preliminary Examination: Objective type test consisting of two papers – General Studies (100 marks) and Law Subject (200 marks)
- Main Examination: Written test with 8 papers, including Hindi, English, Essay, General Studies and Law-specific subjects
- Language Test: Regional language paper of 100 marks (qualifying in nature, not counted in merit)
- Interview: Personality Test of 50 marks based on written exam performance
- Merit List: Final selection based on total marks obtained in Main Exam (excluding language paper) and Interview
- Document Verification: Candidates must produce all original certificates as per online application before Interview
