- Attendant Operator: 3 Years B.Sc (Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry).

- Boiler Apprentice: 3 Years B.Sc (Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry).
- Technician Apprentice (Instrumentation): 3 Years Diploma in relevant Engineering branch.
- Accountant: 3 Years B.Com Graduate.
- Data Entry Operator: Class XII (12th) Pass.
Full Eligibility
Candidates must possess the prescribed qualification as a regular full-time course from a recognized board or institute. Higher professional qualifications like BE/B.Tech, MBA, CA, etc., are strictly not eligible for this training program.

Salary
Apprentices will receive a monthly stipend as per the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 and corporation guidelines. No HRA or accommodation will be provided during the training period.

Selection Process
The selection process for IOCL Barauni Apprentice 2026 is very straightforward. There is no written exam or interview. Candidates are selected based on their academic performance.
- Shortlisting: Based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
- Merit List: Prepared in descending order of marks.
- Tie-Breaking: If marks are equal, the candidate senior in age is preferred.

Job Profile & Responsibility
The training involves learning operations and maintenance activities in a hazardous petroleum refinery environment. Apprentices will work under the guidance of experienced supervisors to gain hands-on technical skills.
- Learning plant operations and control systems.
- Assisting in mechanical maintenance and instrumentation tasks.
- Managing financial records (for Accountants).
- Data management and documentation (for DEO).
- Adhering to strict safety protocols and industrial standards.
