Physical Test Criteria
The recruitment involves a three-level physical endurance test. Candidates must complete each stage to be eligible for the final merit list. No second chance is provided for any test.

Salary Structure
All selected candidates will be placed in the Seventh Pay Commission pay matrix. The salary includes basic pay plus applicable allowances as per A&N Administration rules.

Selection Process
The selection is purely based on Physical Endurance and Trade Skills. There is no written examination mentioned for the Mazdoor posts in the primary notification.

Job Profile & Responsibility
Selected candidates will perform outdoor and industrial duties within the forest areas and wood mills of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The work requires physical stamina and outdoor resilience.
- Mazdoor: General labor work in plantations, nurseries, and forest beats.
- Raftman: Transporting timber logs through water bodies; requires expert swimming.
- Oiler/Beltman: Maintenance of machinery in the Government Saw Mill (Chatham).
- Timber Recorder/Tallyman: Record keeping and measurement of wood logs.
