Qualification
- Candidates must hold a Master's Degree with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/Differently Abled/PhD degree holders who obtained their Master's Degree prior to 19 September 1991) in the concerned/relevant/allied subject.
- Additionally, candidates must have cleared NET conducted by UGC/CSIR, or an equivalent test accredited by UGC such as SLET/SET.
- Alternatively, candidates holding a PhD degree awarded in accordance with UGC Regulations 2009 or 2016 (with specific conditions) are exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
- A PhD Degree from a foreign university/institution ranked among the top 500 globally by QS, THE, or ARWU also qualifies.
- For the Music discipline, traditional and professional artists with commendable achievements, "A" grade Artist status of AIR/Doordarshan, and ability to teach theory may also be eligible.
