Physical Test Criteria

Selection Process
The HP Police Constable selection process involves multiple stages designed to assess candidates' written knowledge, physical fitness, and overall suitability for the police force. Each stage is mandatory for progression.
- Physical Test (PST & PET): Candidates will first undergo a Physical Standard Test (PST) for height measurement (marks awarded) and a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) which is qualifying.
- Written Test: Successful candidates from the Physical Test will appear for an offline objective type written examination of 90 marks.
- Evaluation & Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates from the written test will undergo document verification by the Police Department, where marks for NCC Certificates will also be awarded.
