Job Profile & Responsibility
A Stringer acts as the eyes and ears of Doordarshan at the grassroots level. Their role is to provide timely and accurate visual coverage and news reports from their assigned district to the Regional News Unit.
- Identify and cover Breaking News and local events in the district.
- Produce short news features on sports, business, and current affairs.
- Provide Raw Footage, press material, and a written script for each story.
- Ensure the technical quality (audio/video) meets broadcast standards.
- Coordinate with the RNU Head at DDK Vijayawada for daily tasks.
