Selection Process
The Selection Process is based on a merit-cum-choice system. Marks are calculated out of 100 based on academic performance in MBBS and PG Degree/Diploma.
- Academic Merit (100 Marks):
- MBBS Marks: 60 Marks (Percentage × 0.60)
- MD/MS/DNB: 40 Marks (Flat)
- Diploma: 30 Marks (Flat)
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates based on merit will be called for counseling.
- Final Merit List: Prepared after successful verification of original documents.
Job Profile & Responsibilities
Selected Specialist Doctors will be posted in First Referral Units (FRUs) across various districts in Bihar to provide specialized medical care under the National Health Mission.
- Provision of specialized clinical services in the respective field (ENT, Eye, Skin, etc.).
- Emergency medical handling and surgical interventions as per specialty.
- Participation in national health programs and district-level health initiatives.
- Supervision of junior medical staff and paramedics at FRUs.
- The contract is initially for 11 months, extendable up to 60 years of age based on performance.
