• Exam Level: State Government Civil Services Recruitment.
• Candidate Eligibility: Only candidates who qualified the Punjab PCS Prelims 2025.
• Vacancies: Recruitment for 322 posts including Punjab Civil Services (Executive Branch), DSP, and other allied services.
• Language: The exam includes compulsory papers for English and Punjabi.

The PPSC PCS Mains Date Sheet has been released. The papers will be conducted sequentially according to the official notification:

• Start Date of Mains: 01 April 2026 (Begins with Essay Paper).
• End Date of Mains: 10 April 2026.
• Admit Card Availability: Individual hall tickets will be available 5 days before the date of each specific paper.
• Exam Timing: Usually 3 hours per session (Morning/Evening shifts as per admit card).

• Total Papers: 7 Descriptive Written Papers.
• Total Marks: 1500 Marks for the Mains stage.
• Subjects Included: English Compulsory, Punjabi Compulsory, General Essay, and 4 General Studies papers.
• General Studies (GS) Topics: Covers Indian History, Geography, Economy, Polity, Ethics, Science & Technology, and Punjab-specific current affairs.
• Marking: Since it is a Descriptive Examination, no negative marking is applicable.

• Login Details: Use your Registration Number and Date of Birth/Password to login.
• Mandatory Documents: Carry a printed Admit Card and a valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhar, Voter ID, or PAN Card).
• Reporting Time: Candidates should arrive at the exam center at least 60 minutes before the scheduled time.

• Phase 1: Preliminary Exam – Objective type screening test (Completed).
• Phase 2: Mains Exam – Conventional Descriptive Written Test (Scheduled for April 2026).
• Phase 3: Personality Test (Interview) – Candidates who qualify the Mains will be called for the final interview round (150 Marks).
• Final Merit List: Prepared based on the combined marks of the Mains Exam and the Interview.
