Qualification
- Project Associate-I: Master's Degree in Science (Physics/Atmospheric Science/Meteorology) or B.E./B.Tech.
- Senior Project Associate: Master's Degree with 4 years' experience or B.E./B.Tech with experience.
- Associate Engineer (Civil): B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks and 3 years' experience.
Full Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must ensure they meet the educational qualifications and experience requirements specified for each post code before attending the interview. The upper age limit is calculated based on the date of the interview.

Salary Structure
The remuneration for selected candidates is fixed per month plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) as applicable under the rules of the Institute.

Selection Process
The selection for these temporary positions at IITM Pune will be conducted through a transparent Walk-in Interview process. Candidates must report on time to be considered.

Selected candidates will be involved in high-end research, data analysis, and infrastructure maintenance depending on the post they are selected for.
- Atmospheric Science: Radar data analysis, numerical modeling, and preparing publication manuscripts.
- Civil Works: Preparation of estimates, tender documents, and monitoring campus maintenance.
- Instrument Handling: Upkeep, calibration, and day-to-day maintenance of weather sensors and towers.
- Administration: Assisting in day-to-day academic and administrative activities.
