Qualification
- Junior Translator (Hindi): Master’s Degree in Hindi/English with English/Hindi as a subject.
- Chief Law Assistant: Degree in Law with 3 years standing as a Pleader.
- Staff & Welfare Inspector: Graduation with Diploma in Labour Welfare/HR/MBA.
- Lab Assistant Gr. III: 12th (+2 stage) with Science (Physics and Chemistry).
- Other Posts: Master’s Degree in Psychology/Physiology (Refer Notification).
Full Eligibility
Candidates must ensure they meet all educational qualifications and medical standards as on 29 January 2026. Those awaiting final results are not eligible. Nationality must be Indian or eligible as per para 4.0. Aadhaar authentication is highly recommended for a smoother verification process.

RRB Isolated Categories Salary Structure 2025
The RRB Isolated Categories Salary is based on the 7th CPC Pay Matrix. Candidates appointed to these posts will receive an initial pay ranging from Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 44,900 depending on the Pay Level of the specific post, along with various railway allowances.

Selection Process
The RRB Selection Process for Isolated Categories is designed to test technical and professional skills. It primarily consists of a Single Stage CBT followed by a Translation Test for specific roles and final Document Verification.
- Computer Based Test (CBT): A single-stage online examination for all notified posts.
- Translation Test (TT): Only applicable for the post of Junior Translator (Hindi); it is qualifying in nature.
- Document Verification (DV): Candidates equal to the number of vacancies are called based on CBT Merit.
- Medical Examination: Final health check-up to ensure fitness for the specific Medical Standard (B1, C1, or C2).
Exam Pattern
The RRB Exam Pattern for Isolated Categories focuses heavily on Professional Ability. The total duration of the test is 90 minutes for 100 questions, with a penalty of 1/3rd negative marking for wrong answers.
