Full Eligibility
Candidates applying for WCL Apprentice Recruitment 2025 must be residents of Maharashtra or Madhya Pradesh, or have studied in recognized institutes located in these states. Applicants must have passed their Degree/Diploma/ITI after the academic year 2022-23. Only full-time regular courses are accepted. Candidates with prior apprenticeship or job experience of one year or more are not eligible. Higher qualifications beyond the prescribed eligibility will not be considered. Physical Test Criteria
For the Security Guard Trade, candidates must meet specific physical standards. Minimum height is 160 cm (150 cm for females), chest 80 cm with 4 cm expansion (not applicable for females), eyesight 6/6 (far) and 0.6/0.6 (near) with or without correction, free from color blindness, knock knee, flat foot, and hearing defects. These criteria ensure candidates are physically fit for the role.

Salary
The WCL Apprentice Salary is fixed as per the Apprentice Act, 1961. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend depending on their category of apprenticeship. Graduate Apprentices will get ₹12,300 per month, Technician Apprentices will get ₹10,900 per month, while Trade Apprentices will receive between ₹8,200 and ₹11,040 per month depending on the trade. The stipend will be directly credited to the candidate’s Aadhaar-linked bank account through DBT. Half of the stipend for Graduate and Diploma Apprentices will be borne by the Government of India. This ensures financial support during the 12-month training period.
