- Only applications from female candidates are accepted.
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of the same village/ward for which the vacancy is advertised.
- All documents like education certificates, caste certificate, and BPL card must be self-attested photocopies attached with the form.
- Graduation and above is rewarded with additional points, but percentage does not matter.
- Applicants claiming widow/divorcee/unmarried status (30+ years) must attach a valid legal certificate.
- SC/ST applicants must submit a valid caste certificate issued by SDM or equivalent authority.
- BPL benefit is only valid if the name is present in the list before the application closing date.
- No physical test or entrance exam is conducted; recruitment is merit-based only.
- Experience points are given only for verified work done without complaints.

- Annual Increment given every year in the month of July by the state government.
- State government provides additional honorarium over and above Central government contribution.
- Eligible for Travel & Daily Allowance (TA/DA) equivalent to:
- Anganwadi Workers: Grade-3 government employees
- Assistants: Class-4 government employees
- Get 2 free uniforms every year under Central government norms.
- Reimbursement of Insurance Premium under PMJJBY & PMSBY schemes.
- Provision of free health services through Ayushman Card (for eligible).
- Receive a one-time retirement benefit as per MP State norms (amount decided by department policy).
Selection Process
- Vacancy notification is published at state/division/district level and displayed on the official WCD website and local offices.
- Applications are invited offline in the prescribed format and submitted to the respective ICDS Project Office.
- All received applications are reviewed and verified by the Project Officer, and eligible/ineligible lists are prepared.
- The development block-level selection committee reviews all applications and approves the provisional merit list (based on a 100-mark system).
- The provisional list is published and objections are invited from applicants within 7 days.
- All objections are resolved by the district-level appeal committee, and the final merit list is approved.
- Appointment orders are issued based on the final merit list. The post is offered to the highest-ranking eligible applicant.
- In case of tie marks, the older applicant is given preference.
- If any legal issue arises, the appeal process allows up to two stages—first with the Collector, then the Divisional Commissioner.

Who can apply for MP Anganwadi Bharti 2025?
Only permanent female residents of the respective village or urban ward can apply. The applicant must be aged between 18 to 35 years and have passed 12th grade (Higher Secondary).

Yes. A first appeal can be made to the District Collector within 10 days of the final merit list. A second appeal can go to the Divisional Commissioner within 10 days after the first appeal decision.
How many times a year is recruitment conducted?
Recruitment is conducted twice a year:
